1) What is Rumble to the Peak?

One of the most popular motorcycle rides in Central California is returning summer 2014, Rumble to the Peak (formerly Rumble to the Summit), starting from the Selma Auto Mall in Selma, heading to China Peak Mountain Resort in Lakeshore, California, located on Highway 168.

2) When?

Saturday, August 16, 2014. Riders will start from the Selma Auto Mall in waves of 30-50 riders every 30 minutes.

3) What is the route?

Simple and scenic, Highway 99 north to 41 north, to 180 east to 168 all the way to China Peak. Ride time without stops is approximately 1.75 hours, so figure at least two hours.

4) How much are tickets, and who is the benefitting charity?

Tickets are $40 for riders, $25 for passengers, and all net proceeds will benefit the Children's Hospital of Central California.

5) What's included in the price beyond the organization of the ride?

Included is lunch at China Peak Mountain Resort, admission to the Classic Rock Concert set for 1:30 PM, and a 'goody' bag with a special event pin and t-shirt.

6) Is there a limit on the number of riders allowed?

Definitely! The resort has a capacity for parking, food, etc. of 2,000 motorcycles, and we expect this event to sell out, based on its popularity for so many years.

7) How do we purchase ticket(s)?

All event tickets are sold on this website, CLICK HERE to order. Make sure you print out your receipt, which has a bar code you will need to pick up your ticket(s).

8) Where do I pick up my ticket(s)?

You can pick them up starting on July 1, 2014 at Harley Davidson of Fresno, or at the Selma Auto Mall the morning of the ride, Saturday, August 16 starting at 7:30 AM. If you can't make either of those locations,
you can pick up your ticket(s) at China Peak the morning of the event in a specially marked parking lot just inside the resort entrance.

9) Are there special events before the Rumble to the Peak?

Yes, there will be a number of locations hosting Friday night parties on August 15, including the big one at Harley Davidson of Fresno. Announcements on these parties and other important event announcements will be sent via email once you register for the event.

10) Will there be vendors at the Rumble to the Peak?

Yes, definitely, already lots of vendors have signed on, mostly motorcycle industry related.

11) Who are the sponsors and event organizers?

A very dedicated team of volunteers is heading up this event, including owners and managers from China Peak Mountain Resort, Selma Auto Mall, Harley Davidson of Fresno, Bank of the Sierra, Children's Hospital of Central California and the local Harley Davidson rider's clubs.
